Rathbones Brothers Plc, through its subsidiaries, is one of the UK’s leading providers of personalised wealth management services.
Starting as a family business in Liverpool, Rathbones is now a FTSE 250 listed company managing over £49.4 billion* for our clients. We operate from 15 locations in the UK and Jersey, including our local office on Southgate Street in Winchester which manages £2 billion*. The Winchester team of 35 includes 20 investment professionals of which five are women.
We provide wealth management services for a range of clients including individuals, families, trusts, companies and charities.
Our current office, in the old Hampshire Club building in Southgate Street, was opened in 2002, and brought existing offices in Winchester and Southampton together, consolidating our presence in the area of over 40 years.
Our core service is discretionary investment management. Our clients come to us for our investment expertise because they would like their investments, for example pensions and ISAs, to be managed for them. We discuss risk appetite, objectives, time horizon and financial circumstances in order to agree on the most suitable strategy for them. Our clients may be new investors or wish to transfer an existing portfolio from another investment company. We can help them consolidate their investments, where appropriate, under a single investment strategy.
Other services we offer include financial planning, ethical and sustainable investing and banking services.
The value of investments and income arising from them may fall as well as rise and you might get back less than you originally invested.
Financial planning services are provided by Rathbone Financial Planning, part of Rathbone Investment Management Limited.Rathbone Investment Management Limited is authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority.
