Spring has Sprung: Sulky’s Seasonal Style Guide
With glimmers of ‘normal’ on the horizon and the lighter days and evenings quite literally lightening our mood, this lightness is reflected in this season’s offerings with pastels aplenty and the obligatory florals.
I’ve done a roundup of my picks to ease you into Spring 2021…
Whilst it may be lighter, it isn’t that much warmer, so this Taylor long line cardigan from one of my fave brands, Dancing Leopard is a great trans-seasonal piece that will take you through early to late spring as a wear-alone or layering piece.
I love the lilac – but it also comes in a mint green
My going-out shoes think I’ve died since the start of the pandemic and I’m not gonna lie, I am very out of practice in the heel-wearing department. Luckily, the Trainer trend shows no sign of abating and I can get my kicks (no pun intended) from these beauties from Vionic Shoes in the beautifully named ‘Seafoam’.
I love a trainer and dress combo and this dreamy dress from Asos will work perfectly with the chunky Seafoam trainer…
Bloom with Blossom
These mint blossom cotton pj’s from Green and Pink tick both the spring colour theme and the floral boxes and are hands down my fave PJ brand.
Rainbows & Rhinestones
Thanks to a certain Inauguration Poet, namely Amanda Gorman, the headband is here to stay and I am loving this satin baby blue one with added sparkle, from Roseings London.
It’s a definite ‘Investment’ piece but this Pillow Tabby bag from Coach is a winner for me.
Last but by no means least, if you’re not ready to embrace the pastel trend quite yet, ease yourself in with this ridiculously beautiful candle from Overose. You won’t regret it, it’s the best smell in the world.
And that completes your introduction to Spring 2021. You’re welcome. 💛💜
