What's On in April
With the sun showing its face and all that extra daylight it finally feels as if pretty old Winchester is springing to life. Whether you’re looking for a break from the school holidays or are after a little local culture, there’s plenty happening in and around town this month.

Kimbridge Barn Wedding Event
The stunning and newly restored Kimbridge Barn is hosting an open wedding event this weekend. A chance to view the elegant and rustic space and get some wedding inspo ahead of your special day. Plus, make sure you stop for lunch… it’s delish!
Easter Wreath Making
Join local florist Emily from Little & Bloom at The Nutshell for a gorgeous Easter-inspired creative workshop. A chance to create your own personalised wreath for your front door or table centerpiece ahead of Easter weekend. £35 per person (children under 12 are free). Head to The Nutshell for more details.
Easter Sunday Sessions
The wonderful Westgate will be hosting an afternoon of live music on Easter Sunday from 3pm to 6pm. Plus, they’re holding a Mad Hatter afternoon tea party on the 20th to celebrate their new local tea supplier, Char Tea.
The Trials of Oscar Wilde
Fancy a little theatre date? Following on from a sell-out West End run, the European Arts Company will be at the Theatre Royal with their dramatisation of the libel and criminal trials of Oscar Wilde. The production will be running from the 25th-27th April.
In support of Winchester Hospice, Hatty Goody, Tom Jesty and Ros Harpur invite you to an evening of piano, cello and flute music at Winchester College Music School on the 27th April. No advance tickets needed but there will be a collection with all proceeds going to Winchester Hospice.
