What's On? Winchester Cocktail Week!
Winchester Cocktail Week
What a way to kick-start February. January with all its dryness, pay-day-waiting, and post-Christmas blues is now firmly a thing of the past and Winchester Cocktail Week is officially here to cause a stir and shake things up a bit!
From Monday 4th – Sunday 10th February Winchester city and its finest destinations will be hosting some serious cocktail fun. To join in all you need to do is purchase a ticket here (tickets cost £10) and exchange it for a wrist band at the Cabinet Rooms. Once you’ve donned your wrist band you’re ready to indulge in all the cocktail deals and gain exclusive access to all the events happening throughout the week.
So what destinations will be hosting events?
This year there are SO many pubs, bars, restaurants, and even shops that will be hosting their own cocktail events. From Greens, The Mucky Duck, and The Westgate to The Railway, Three Joes and even Jeremy France Jewellers; keep an eye out for the huge variety of delicious cocktails, tastings, events…
Here’s a little taster of what’s to come:
Greens Bar & Kitchen
Greens will have their delicious Honeysuckle Daiquiri (their very own signature cocktail) plus special offers for wristband holders and a week FULL of masterclasses and tastings of their very own. You can book your space by calling them on 01962 869630.
On Thursday 7th from 7pm Toscanaccio will be hosting an evening with Winchester Distillery. A little gin history, a dash of science and some gin tastings will all be mixed to create the perfect evening.
The Spitfire Sisters Cocktail Week Special
The Spitfire Sisters will be recording their very first live podcast in the Attic Space of The Railway on Thursday 7th Feb. Soulful songs, audience participation and a pop up rum bar sponsored by Bacardi will all be yours to enjoy from 8pm onwards. Find out more here.
Fancy pizza and a pop-up whiskey bar with a little live music thrown in for good measure? The Stable will be bringing you The Spirit of Scotland in the form of a whiskey bar and music from Junco Shakers. There will also be 10% off food for all wristband holders so make sure you order those tickets now!
Enter Studio 54 – a recreation of the 70’s Manhattan bar. Canapes from The Little Kitchen Company, classic cocktails from Gorilla Spirits, and some serious disco fever will be the party to end all parties. Book your tickets here.
Whatever your cocktail style, you’ll find something to tickle your tastebuds and shake your week up.
